Erin Gallegos Reid

for San Antonio

City Council District 3

The incumbent had her chance.
She voted FOR the CPS Rate Hike. She voted AGAINST our CPS refund. She SKIPPED the session discussing refund plans. She voted FOR changing the City Charter, which proves she DOES NOT UNDERSTAND the limits of the city’s power. She DOES NOT serve us.

We STILL DON’T HAVE streets free of homeless encampments, debris, stray dogs, and street racing.
We STILL DON’T HAVE regular, visible police presence.
We STILL DON’T HAVE a police substation or committee of residents sharing feedback. We STILL DON’T HAVE a secure power grid. We STILL DON’T HAVE ACCOUNTABILITY for the $75 million CPS surplus.

We ARE the largest district in town, at 77 square miles.
We ARE tax payers, entitled to a safe, clean, patrolled community.
We ARE NOT letting CITY COUNCIL ignore us any longer.
We REPRESENT the past, present and future of San Antonio.

IT IS TIME FOR A CHANGE.

“READY TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY

THAT SHAPED ME FOR SUCCESS”

PUBLIC SAFETY

I want to clean up our streets: remove, rehabilitate and foster strays; disband homeless encampments; remove debris; reclaim bike lanes; stop street racing.

I will advocate for more ACS officers in D3. I would like to see a renewed partnership with the City and the Humane Society to operate the Brooks Spray/Neuter Clinic and expand it to include a no-kill center.

I want to see more Code Compliances officers, including evening and weekend patrol. This will also help curb homeless taking over abandoned homes.

I want to see more SAPD SAFE officers in our area, as well as traffic patrol.

I am AGAINST PROP A, and will refer to it as the (In)justice Charter. DO NOT BE DECEIVED. SAPD removed choke holds and no knock warrants years ago. This charter will embolden theft up to $750, expand cite and release, and allow contraband in jails. This has been already done in California, called Prop 47.

COMMUNITY INPUT

I want to form a committee of D3 residents to weigh in on substation location. Our voices should lead the discussions with the City and SAPD officials.

I want to create neighborhood forums for residents to voice concerns, as well as inform residents services available.

I grew up playing at Highland Park, now called Bode. It still offers a wealth of programs which my family and I enjoy regularly.
